The character Tommy, in the book "Shawshank Redemption" is a lot like many people I know in my life. Lots of teenagers drop out of high school and dont ever receive the high school diplomas. Usually when I know people like this, they end up messing their life up even more. Tommy went to jail so he reminded me of a few people that I have met in my life.
